The NorthPort Batang Pier has a new owner in Titan Ultra Giant Risers and will debut in the PBA Season 50. According to PBA board treasurer Raymond Zorrilla, the Titan Ultra team will enter the 50th season of the PBA. Giant Risers team governor Emilio Tiu stated that they have a roster that can compete against stronger teams. The Titan Ultra squad will be coached by Jhonedel Cardel, with former NorthPort head coach Bonnie Tan as a consultant. Veterans Calvin Abueva and Joshua Munzon will lead the team, along with young players Cade Flores, Fran Yu, Mario Barasi, and Chris Koon. The team is looking to make a strong impression in the league and give the powerhouse teams a run for their money.
